Mosaics in Western Europe Region in the Hellenistic and Roman Eras 

Abstract

The scientific meaning of the word mosaic was known later by the romans with the word opus museum.The connection of mosaic art in Western Europe with the study of Hellenistic and Roman artistic features and their influence on the architecture of Eastern civilizations, given that Western European mosaics contain classical Hellenistic and Roman elements.
