Abstract

Mental health conditions like stress, anxiety, and depression can affect students’ life. Studies evaluating stress, anxiety, and depression in dorm-dwelling students are scarce. The purpose of this observational study was to identify the risk factors for stress, anxiety, and depression. Students living in hostels deal with a range of social and environmental problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of stress, anxiety, and depression among the female hostelite students at BANASTHALI VIDHYAPITH. Overall, the study’s findings point to a higher degree of mental health issues among Banasthali campus hostelite students compared to day scholars, which may have an impact on their social and personal lives. Therefore, the causes of deteriorating mental states are included in this study.
