Abstract
To address the limitations of traditional algorithms in enhancing the efficiency and quality of physical education instruction, the author introduces a university basketball course analysis and management system utilizing the C4.5 decision tree algorithm. The initial step involves a thorough examination of the data mining technique employed, specifically the C4.5 algorithm. Following this, the author outlines the framework and database architecture for the course analysis and management system. The system is implemented using ASP.NET, with SQL Server 2008 serving as the database and Visual Studio 2010 as the development environment. Experimental results indicate that this system significantly outperforms the course grade analysis system based on the ID3 algorithm, achieving approximately a 12% reduction in data processing time and an 8% increase in dataset analysis accuracy. Overall, the proposed physical education curriculum analysis and management system demonstrates commendable performance in terms of runtime and precision, thus offering robust data support for enhancing the efficiency and quality of physical education curriculum management.
