Abstract

AI is here, and it’s not going anywhere.  This article, “You Just Can’t Beat the Machine: A Lawyer’s Duty to Adapt in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” makes the case that lawyers can’t afford to ignore this new technology.  AI is already reshaping the profession, and with it comes new ethical responsibilities.  The lawyers who figure out how to use these tools effectively—while staying on the right side of their ethical obligations—will have the edge.  Those who don’t?  They may be left behind.
