Abstract

This study analyzes the role of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming higher education from the perspective of Marxist-Leninist philosophy. Grounded in the methodology of dialectical and historical materialism, the research highlights the dialectical relationship between the development of productive forces-of which generative AI is a significant manifestationand the educational superstructure. The study addresses the need to restructure educational models, re-evaluate the role of academic labor, and reconsider the nature of knowledge and academic ethics in the context of AI's growing capacity to generate and assess intellectual content. It introduces the concept of a "New Academy," in which human and machine intelligence collaborate to enhance academic productivity, while preserving the central role of human critical thinking, humanistic values, and social responsibility. The research contributes to the theoretical and practical orientation of higher education reform, promoting a progressive, equitable, and human-centered approach to knowledge production in the digital era.
