Miracle or Mechanism? The Qur'an Settled the Question and Revealed the Science Behind Sheba's Throne Transfer

Abstract

This paper presents a groundbreaking scientific interpretation of the Quranic account of the instantaneous transportation of the Queen of Sheba’s throne, proposing it as a symbolic precedent of teleportation—a phenomenon that modern science is now on the verge of realizing. Drawing upon advanced technologies such as mass-energy conversion, energy-to-mass reassembly, quantum computing, nanotechnology, holography, 3D printing, and the quantum internet, the study constructs a theoretical and technological framework for real-world teleportation. Recent achievements, including Italy’s photon-to-mass conversion experiments and quantum supremacy milestones by IBM and Google, are integrated to support the plausibility of this vision.

The paper adopts an interdisciplinary methodology that merges physics, computational theory, and historical narrative analysis. It demonstrates how the throne’s transfer, as described in Surah An-Naml, can be deconstructed into four stages: dematerialization, data encoding, ultra-fast transmission, and precise reassembly—each of which is now scientifically approachable. The paper concludes by calling for institutional investment and cross-disciplinary collaboration to transform teleportation from a historical marvel into a future-defining reality.
