Abstract

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to revolutionize industries, the integration of AI into the workforce raises complex ethical, social, and economic challenges. This paper explores the policy and regulatory frameworks necessary for fostering a responsible and equitable transition to AI-augmented labor. It examines current global standards, legal considerations, and institutional practices that aim to safeguard workers' rights, ensure transparency, and promote accountability in AI deployment. The study also highlights gaps in existing regulations and offers recommendations for governments, industries, and international bodies to create robust, inclusive, and forward-looking governance structures. Emphasis is placed on balancing innovation with social responsibility to ensure that AI adoption enhances human potential rather than replacing it indiscriminately.
