Abstract
This chapter - a follow-up to my earlier paper on 'The Nature of Evil' - establishes the existence of a right to resist evil, that is distinct from other rights such as a right to self-defence, and considers how that right might apply where the state is involved in evil acts to permit the right-holder to commit what would otherwise be private wrongs against the state.
