How I Do It: A Growth Mindset Workshop for Surgical Trainees

Abstract

Growth mindset has recently been gaining attention among surgical educators, but there are limited data on mindset interventions specific to the surgical context. We designed and implemented a mindset intervention for surgical interns. The workshop design was based on adult learning theory and experimental research. It includes videos, reflection exercises, role plays, and group discussions.
