Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic underscored critical vulnerabilities in the U.S. healthcare supply chain-ranging from chronic stockouts and overstocking to fragmented procurement workflows and unreliable vendor performance. Aligned with national efforts to modernize healthcare infrastructure, including the U.S. Digital Health Strategy 2024, NIST interoperability frameworks, and CMS value-based care initiatives, NeoMediX360 offers a scalable, policyaligned logistics platform built on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain. The system integrates predictive analytics for demand forecasting with blockchain-backed procurement flows to deliver real-time inventory visibility, automated restocking, supplier risk scoring, and tamper-proof transactions. Validated through simulation using de-identified datasets from U.S. hospitals, NeoMediX360 achieved 87% forecast accuracy, reduced supply waste by 40%, shortened procurement cycles by 60%, and enhanced vendor reliability by 70%. These metrics translate into estimated annual savings exceeding $26,000 for medium-sized hospitals. Designed as a cloud-based SaaS platform, NeoMediX360 features plug-and-play compatibility with EHR/ERP systems using FHIR and HL7 standards. Its modular architecture ensures scalability across diverse institutions-from rural hospitals to urban health systems-while supporting white-label licensing for EHR vendors. With IP filings in progress and partnership outreach to U.S. incubators (e.g., Texas Medical Center Innovation, Cedars-Sinai Accelerator), the platform is positioned for national rollout across the American health-tech landscape. This paper presents the system's design methodology, simulation outcomes, commercialization roadmap, and policy integration, offering a viable pathway for U.S. hospitals, investors, and policymakers seeking to reengineer healthcare logistics with smart, secure, and scalable technology.
