Abstract

In our main paper on anthropological economics which was published by us in the year 2020, we had introduced the concept of motivational economics as an important concept and a crucial subset in the evolving and emerging field of anthropological economics. In this paper, we take the entire game forward by a considerable degree, and review not only the concept of motivation, but also the important current and historical theories in motivational studies, and techniques to measure them. We also then stress and emphasize the need to integrate motivational studies with psychology and other allied fields for maximum efficacy and comprehensiveness of understanding, and propose the allimportant U-curve approach in motivational economics. We also link motivational studies to other important concerns and considerations such as dimensional analyses, inferiority, superiority and persecution complexes, and mind and cultural orientations. The science of motivational economics is also then aligned with other important concepts such as social security systems and other support systems, besides many more of our earlier concepts that we have been publishing off and on. All in all, we expect this paper to become a trendsetter in defining contemporary economic thought, and make life infinitely better for hundreds of millions of the earth's denizens. This can of course happen only if the human psyche is the basis for driving cardinal analysis, a principle that we will always stick to steadfastly.
