Abstract

This piece, part of a symposium on amending the Administrative Procedure Act, argues that changes in the Act are undesirable. The present Act's elliptic provisions have allowed ample flexibility for the law to evolve as necessary. Many of the proposed changes to the Act would not only detract from the Act's flexibility, but would also impose questionable solutions to current issues in administrative law.
