Abstract

This paper focuses on spectrum management in next generation of cellular networks. Several concepts are introduced that are central to the design of spectrum management algorithms. A practically realizable candidate algorithm for spectrum pricing is introduced based on pricing models and economic concepts. A peak-load pricing scheme with combinatorial auctions is suggested. Peak-load pricing raises prices when the demand for a service is at its highest. The winners of these auctions will be decided by a winner determination algorithm. Further investigation is conducted, testing the results.
