Abstract

This article looks at family business conflict and the conflict styles commonly adopted by family members. This examination provides some valuable insights into how an external accountant, with family business clients, can play a lead role in managing conflict in the business, and helping to ensure business survival. These insights are also useful for practitioners working in their own family business.
