Inter-Domain QoS Application and Methodology

Abstract

As the telecommunications and multimedia applications continue to migrate to the packet switched world of IP, we continuously hear QoS is the enabler. Yet, there are very few real applications in which providers have married QoS domains and policies together to form a comprehensive QoS strategy across network boundaries. This paper will present real business problems that will require Inter-domain QoS collaboration as the means. The paper further builds as a methodology on how-to implement and maintain QoS in the Inter-domain sense.
