Abstract
The first Roman Catholic Centre was established at St. Peter's, Amizi, Ikwuano, in 1923 through Calabar. Even though the Methodists came first in the area, the Catholic faith has made tremendous impact in evangelism with the largest number of Christian faithful in the area.
