Abstract
The Janus Path is an original structured cognitive model designed to help individuals penetrate problem structures, identify structural traps, and reconstruct their cognitive starting points. Unlike tools such as the Pyramid Principle or mind maps, which primarily organize existing thoughts, the Janus Path functions as a generative cognitive mechanism, enabling structural reflection and path-jumping even in chaotic or ambiguous contexts. This paper presents the philosophical foundations, core mechanisms, and distinctions between the Janus Path and existing thinking frameworks. It further explores potential applications in personal decision-making, product strategy, organizational collaboration, cultural critique, and philosophical inquiry. Finally, it outlines EchoPath, a prototype application concept designed to operationalize the Janus Path in real-world contexts. The ultimate vision is to empower individuals with sovereignty over their own cognitive structures, thereby contributing to the structural-cognitive evolution of human civilization.
