Abstract

Decolonisation of the curricula at higher education institutions is not only topical, but has also become a reality faced by many academics, management structures and students. Movements such as “Rhodesmustfall” and “feesmustfall” has brought underlying issues, such as a call for decolonising the curricula, in many fields under the spotlight. The purpose of this article is to explore whether, and if so, how labour law has decolonised itself in the new world of work, and whether there is a need further to decolonise the labour law curriculum against the backdrop of these changes.
