Abstract
Financial Inclusion is the process of ensuring access to financial services needed by society including vulnerable groups such as weaker sections and low income groups at an affordable cost in a fair and transparent manner. India still could not achieve the objective of Financial Inclusion properly. To include the excluded section of society Government of India launched specific Financial Inclusion schemes at state and central level. The study aimed to analyze the households' awareness of Financial Inclusion schemes. The nature of data used in the present study is primary
which had been collected by using a structured schedule. 349 respondents of rural and urban areas of Rohtak and Rewari districts of Haryana were sampled. It was concluded that the level of awareness of PMJDY was very high in respondents. It was surprising to note that respondents were least aware about the MUDRA scheme of Financial Inclusion.
