How does the 'ought' considerations of the norm affect the efficacy of the law? Or, in fact, the 'ought' is never concerned with the efficacy? Or the pure adherence to 'ought' reflects the obligation with the law? The questions of efficacy have mostly been used to critically analyse the law. However, from one view it may be said that questions of efficacy is merely an attitude to say something about the legal order, which otherwise demonstrably is an efficient system. It is still open for the scholarly enquiry to look afresh upon the value of 'ought' to identify the inherence of efficacy in it.
