Abstract
In my previous work I conjectured that Gödel’s loophole in the domain of constitutional law refers to the logical possibility of self-amendment, i.e. an amendment to a constitution’s amendment clause. Building on my previous work, this Article extends the general logic of Gödel’s loophole to a promising new method of AI safety called “Constitutional AI” (Bai et al. 2022).
