Abstract

English Abstract: The growth vs. degrowth economic policy debate is presented via a rational and methodical synopsis, focusing on post-Keynesian, Austrian and thermoeconomic approaches. Our text prefers the Austrian or psychological school of economics, which arguments in favor of human ingenuity, dynamic efficiency and eco-economic sustainability; this view points to the cyclical interplay of human-made economic systems and the physical world of resources in an evolutionary perspective of tech-know-logical change, agency and progress.
