Abstract

This handbook chapter on digital platforms and antitrust provides an overview and synthesis on the general digital platform competitive landscape when considering antitrust challenges, including defining markets and evaluating the motivation behind, and impacts of, platform mergers and conduct by examining papers across economics and related fields such as strategy, information systems, and marketing.
