Abstract
Considering the significant changes in the productive structure and their implications for the labor market, this study aims to explore career expectations and employability among university students of Business Administration in Brazil. To this end, an exploratory analysis was conducted based on a literature review and empirical research with 37 students, using electronic questionnaires. The results indicate that students highly value practical experience, such as internships, and recognize the importance of interpersonal skills for professional success. It is observed that the lack of practical experience is a central concern, as well as the competitiveness of the job market. It is concluded that career development strategies, such as internships and trainee programs, are essential to improve students' employability, highlighting the need for integration between theory and practice in the academic environment.
