Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) on the economic growth of the community in Raja Village, Bua District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained through documentation, in-depth interviews, and direct observation that explored information from BUMDes managers, the community, and the village government. The results of the study show that the existence of BUMDes makes a positive contribution to increasing people's income and opening new jobs. The business programs carried out, such as savings and loans, agricultural product management, and community service services, are able to drive local economic activity. However, there are several challenges such as a lack of management capacity, funding, and active community participation that need to be overcome to maximize the impact. This research emphasizes the importance of synergy between village governments, BUMDes managers, and the community in supporting the sustainability and development of BUMDes to encourage inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
