Abstract

This study addresses the research gap in understanding the integration of big data analytics with digital technologies in supply chain management by developing a comprehensive orchestration framework. Using PRISMA methodology, we systematically reviewed 96 publications (2012-2024) through multi-stage analysis combining bibliometric techniques, structural topic modeling, and thematic analysis. Results revealed three distinct research clusters: Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, and Big Data Analytics, with significant negative correlations between clusters (-0.48 to -0.54) indicating organizational shifts toward integrated approaches as digital maturity increases. Our key contribution is the Digital Supply Chain Orchestration Framework, which conceptualizes transformation as a multi-layered phenomenon with hierarchical relationships between foundational domains, technological enablers, integration mechanisms, and value creation dimensions. This framework identifies integration mechanisms as critical mediators between technological implementation and value creation. The findings provide organizations with a structured approach to assess digital maturity, identify technological gaps, and develop strategic roadmaps aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (8, 9, and 12), enhancing resilience while reducing environmental impact. Our research bridges theory and practice by offering a validated framework that guides digital supply chain transformation toward integrated, value-driven ecosystems.
