Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the construction factors and typology of local wisdom in multi-religiosity. We employed a qualitative approach, utilizing descriptive methods, to achieve this. The constructivist paradigm, which aims to investigate the research subject in a specific and in-depth manner, predicated this research design. First, the results delineate six distinct elements that contribute to the formation of local wisdom in multireligious contexts: (1) cross-cultural interaction, (2) tolerance and mutual respect, (3) adaptation to change, (4) integration of universal values, (5) involvement in celebrations, and (6) cultural sustainability. Second, a multireligious society can cultivate local wisdom through four strategies: (1) dialogue and open communication; (2) collaboration in joint activities; (3) building faith bridges; and (4) joint religious celebrations and rituals. Third, Muna societies categorize the characteristic typologies of multireligiosity into three distinct categories: (a) integration of shared values, (b) shared traditions and rituals, and (c) symbols of mutual agreement. Notwithstanding its comprehensive approach, this study has several limitations that may affect the generalizability and depth of the findings. Context-specific findings: scope of qualitative approach, potential influence of researcher bias. Addressing these limitations in subsequent research endeavors could enhance the understanding of local wisdom in diverse multi-religious contexts and improve the applicability of these findings to various societal structures.
