Abstract

The evolution of Artificial Intelligence(AI) has completely revolutionized e-commerce with AI chatbots and emerging tools in customer service and engagement. This paper explores how these intelligent systems enhance customer interaction, streamline support processes, and contribute to the overall e-commerce strategies. This research is a mixed study using both quantitative and qualitative methods for user satisfaction surveys and in-depth interviews with marketing professionals. The study examines how AI chatbots significantly improve response time and cost saving, reduce turn-around time (TAT), provide personalized interaction, and maintain consistent service quality, thereby boosting customer satisfaction, service delivery, and loyalty. This research highlights how AI chatbots are gathering valuable customer data, which provides valuable insights into targeted marketing campaigns and helps refine customer journey mapping. The study will also address challenges such as the need for continuous improvement in chatbot technology to handle complex queries and the ethical considerations surrounding data privacy. In conclusion, this paper underscores the transformative potential of AI chatbots in enhancing customer service and engagement, positioning them as indispensable assets in contemporary e-commerce. The insights gained from this research offer valuable guidance for businesses looking to implement or optimize AI chatbot solutions, maximizing the benefits and mitigating associated risks.
