To search for an abstract by title or abstract content, enter one or more words in the 'Keyword(s)' field. Select Title, Abstract, or both in the 'Apply to:' field. Click the Search button or hit . To locate abstracts by a particular author, enter part or all of the author's last name in the 'Last Name:' field. To narrow the author's last name search, enter part or all of the author's first name in the 'First Name:' field. Mulitple names may be searched but the names must be seperated by commas. To create a more specific search, search for phrases or combinations or words by seperating the searchterms with "AND", "OR", or "NOT".

Browse SSRN Abstract Database by Journal / Topic

You may search for abstracts in a particular journal or based on a specific topic by clicking on the "browse/search by: journal or topic" button at the top left side of the Abstract Search Page. After selecting the desired journal or topic, the results will appear sorted by date of posting. Other options for sorting appear to the left of the screen. These options include sorting by: "Number of downloads", "Date posted, descending", "Abstract title, ascending", and "Abstract title, ascending".

Browse SSRN Abstract Database by JEL Classification

You may search for abstracts if you know the JEL Classification code by clicking on the "browse/search by: JEL topic list" button at the top left side of the Abstract Search Page. After selecting the desired JEL code, the results will appear sorted by date of posting. Other options for sorting appear to the left of the screen. These options include sorting by: "Number of downloads", "Date posted, descending", "Abstract title, ascending", and "Abstract title, ascending".
